Peter is the director and founder of the Ptlabs Consulting Pty Ltd. He has been a registered migration agent since 2004.
Peter is a member of the Migration Institute of Australia. He was a member of the Australian Computer Society, the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers and the Law Society of New South Wales. Peter holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours majoring in computer engineering which explains his unique ability to assist our clients with their technology skills assessments. His honours thesis was on computer vision and detection. Interestingly, Peter wrote a technical paper for the Internet Society's 1996 conference which was presented in Montréal, Canada.
Peter contributed actively to various Australian immigration related internet forums and newsgroups using his online handle ptlabs. His keen personal interest in Australian immigration law led him to complete a Citizenship & Immigration Law course (with distinction) at the University of Technology, Sydney in 2003.
While he currently practises exclusively as a migration agent only, Peter was admitted and remains enrolled as a lawyer of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and is on the register of practitioners of the High Court of Australia. His legal qualifications include a Diploma in Law awarded by the Legal Profession Admission Board of New South Wales, where he graduated as the most distinguished law student, and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Australian National University. He is a sessional lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the University of Sydney, teaching undergraduate law in the university's Bachelor of Laws and Juris Doctor programs since 2015.
